HEALTH GUARANTEE


A Health Guarantee protects the owner from congenital defects, as well as record of immunizations. We maintain responsibility for the quality of life even after a kitten leaves our home to go to their adoptive family, and in the unlikely event of mistreatment, the contract provides for unconditional surrender of the cat by the owner back to Cobblestone Bengals.


Kittens are generally ready to go to their new homes at between 9 and 12 weeks of age. All kittens will be vaccinated by a veterinarian while in our care. A list of vaccinations received and recommended boosters will be sent home with the new owners. We recommend that you take your new kitten to a veterinarian within 72 hours for an exam, especially if he/she was shipped by airline. As well as health records, all registration paperwork will be included.


Paradise Cove Bengals is not only committed to selecting and breeding beautiful and sweet tempered cats. We also screen all males and females for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). We guarantee that all kittens are FeLV and FIV negative as are all of our breeding males and females. We also keep meticulous records of breedings regarding any genetic abnormalities and we will be following up with new owners about each kitten’s health within the first year.
